The small town of Amersfoort in the Netherlands. A street theater festival in the late 1980’s. the English Street Theater group Desperate Men have a theater piece moving through canals and streets, there is a small rowboat, and a mobile fountain, a not necessarily happy pregnant pope and attendants, ritualistic processions and actions. Some people are loving it, and there are a few who don’t exactly like the imagery….
